Not again!

I am 29 years old and am pregnant for the 4th time. I've had 2 abortions and 1 miscarriage. This is the 3rd time I've gotten pregnant within a year's time with the same guy. The first time I think he did it on purpose, and I wasn't about to have a child with somebody I'd known for 2 months who was trying to trap me, (I caught him taking off the condom and pretending he didn't!). So I wanted him to pay for the abortion, (he had been harassing me not to have the abortion calling crying saying "how can you kill it?" and putting his 13 year old daughter on the phone).

Then when the day came for him to take me he was late in picking me up. I knew something was funny, so we get to the clinic and it comes time to pay and he's acting all weird. "I left it in the car" he says and goes to get it. When he returns he says in a sickeningly cowardly voice "I don't have it." I freaked out in front of all of the other patients and let him have it; it was all I could do not to claw his face off.

And can you believe I'm still with him? This time I made sure we used condoms and the one time we didn't I took the morning after pill. It is just unbelievable, I'm so mad! I don't want a kid right now, especially with someone who won't be able to support me. Men make children and way more than half of them take off, it just seems like the norm these days, and women are left to deal with everything!

I know I'm getting older but I don't want to be stuck and miserable and make an innocent child the same way. I feel so guilty and stupid but the reality is that I'm not ready and I'm horrified that I have to go through with this again. I have morning sickness morning noon and night, I've never thrown up but I'm so nauseous and short of breath all damn daylong! I just wish that men (especially mine) would have to feel and go through 1/3 (or 100 times) of the things that we do.

Thanks for listening to me vent.

Got pregnant too quickly?

I came off the pill half way through December, purely to give myself some rest from it after taking it solid for 3 years. I thought nothing would happen anyway (naive I guess) and realized my period never arrived. Its now the 4th week in January and I think I'm about 3 wks pregnant.

I never even had a natural period! I'm very worried, haven't seen my Doctor as yet... I’m going this week but I still can't stop thinking, “what if something goes wrong because of not having a natural period and falling pregnant so soon?”

I never thought it was possible after taking the pill for so long.

19, pregnant, and excited

My boyfriend and I had just gotten engaged, both of us 19 yrs old and making our way through college... A couple of weeks later I decided to take a year off from college just to make things easier.... A good thing because 5 weeks later we found out I was pregnant!!!

Both of us have jobs, but I don't get many hours and so it's going to be a little difficult but it's not going to kill us!!! He and I are both thrilled about the baby that will enter our lives sometime in September.

Just remember no matter what your financial situation there is always a way to "make it"!

superhuman senses

Hi everyone. I just found out 4 days ago that I’m pregnant! About 6 weeks. I found out because I was hospitalized. The doc diagnosed me with encephalitis! My senses are superhuman! Everything is so bright, loud and SMELLY! And geesh this all day sickness is horrible!

But my hubby & I are soooo excited! I have had no obvious signs such as nausea but have had spotting, heartburn and a strange sensation in my lower abdomen.

Excited but also a little scared

I just found out this week that I'm pregnant for the third time. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks and then we were blessed with our beautiful baby boy (who is now 5 yrs. old).

My husband and I are extremely excited but I'm a little scared because I keep having abdominal cramping. I'm approx. 4 to 5 weeks. It feels like I'm about to get my period. I have not been spotting or anything.

I worry because our first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks. I also cramped a lot then too.
