Hi. I am writing this hoping someone else is in my situation. I have an 8-year-old son who took me 3 months to conceive. We are trying for another one. It's been 8 months this month. I am 37 and a little overweight.

I get so depressed every month that I am not pregnant. I plan it right on the money every time, between 10-16 days after my period and it isn't working. I keep thinking, "am I too old?"

I would love to hear similar stories. I am trying not to give up, but my clock is ticking. So many people I know are just having babies like crazy, why can't I?

Am I pregnant or not?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 7 months. I was on the pill for 3 to 3 1/2 years. My first period was normal, the next was 54 days between the first and next. And since then my period has been maybe a week late. The first day of my last period was December 4th.

I am 19 days late as of today January 22. I took a pregnancy test on January 12th and it was negative. But I still haven't started. My breasts have been itchy as well as my stomach. I am going to take another one on this Friday January 26th.

I have had little pains in my lower stomach, sort of like cramps not really.

Could this be it?

I have a 4 1/2 year old daughter and my husband and I have decided that we are ready to have our second child. I quit taking my birth control on 11/30/06 and my first cycle after that was only 21 days. I am now on cycle day 29 and still no af.

I took a test on day 27 and it was negative. I really feel like I'm pregnant, a little sick to my stomach, tired, changes in my breasts, cramps. I really hope this is it.

I got pregnant with my 1st just 2 weeks after going off the pill.

Don't lose sight

I am 26 years old, and my husband is 32. We decided to start trying for a baby in Oct 2006. Imagine my surprise, when I took a pregnancy test, and found that it delivered me with a positive result. After only ONE month of trying! We were both so excited. Sadly, when I was 6 weeks along, I had a miscarriage.

The doctors said that since this was my first pregnancy, it was not something to worry about. Since I was so early in the pregnancy, and my cervix had not yet begun to open, the doc said that we could try again, as soon as Jan. 07!!

My husband and I have started trying again, but I have found that although we love each other very much, and we want a family together, I have realized that it is something that will happen when it is meant to. We were getting to the point that sex was just "routine," and it was losing the romance. I don't EVER want to lose the romance with my husband that our sex life has always held.

I think that when you are trying to conceive, and you allow yourself to get completely self-absorbed, you lose sight of what is really important, and that is the closeness that you are sharing with your spouse. Just relax, enjoy the attempts, and know that when it is meant to happen, it will.

As for this month... we tried again, and I am feeling like I am getting my period about a week early, so that is a little discouraging, but we will just keep trying, and have fun doing so!

crazy or not?

Well I don’t no if I'm crazy or really pregnant I have all the signs of being pregnant, including the nice round belly. See I'm 3 months late but all tests come back negative and blood came back inconclusive, so I don’t no what do.

I want them to send me for a ultrasound but they won’t till I have a positive test. This is driving me nuts! I have sore boobs, am eating lots and peeing lots, have swollen hands, headaches, am feeling sick and tired all the time and I have a belly that looks like I'm 3 or 4 months.
