Finding the right Dr.

I called my primary care provider and found out he does not do prenatal care. He referred me to 2 Dr.'s in the same area. I called the one he felt was a good one. I called and made the appointment- they didn't have an opening until 5 weeks later, which I thought was a long time to wait for your first Dr. appointment. I was thinking I was about 9 weeks at the time.

During the time I was waiting on the Dr. appoinment to come up, I was having cramps. I was worried and called the prenatal Dr. They said they didn't have time to see me. They made me cry, the way they talked to me was like they didn't care about me or my baby. I immediatly called my primary care Dr. He got me in right away. Uh, turns out that it was really just a BM. Sick huh.

Anyway, I told my Dr. about my experience and he referred me to the other Dr. I walked right over to the other Dr. and they were the most friendly people. They got me in within the week for my first visit. I got my ultrasound done and found out that I was 14 weeks along already. If I would've waited and went to the other Dr. I would have already been about 19 weeks.

I am glad that I had the ordeal that I went through and found out the "true colors" about the Dr. I initially was going to go to. I urge you all to ask questions when picking a prenatal Dr. Ask them if they have emergency openings during the day, how do they deal with your questions when calling in? I recomend this because you will come up with a lot of questions that you won't want to wait till your next appointment for the answer.

Good Luck

i was right

I posted about 2 mths ago regarding surprise no3...turns out i was right - I did fall pregnant. Sadly, this one ended at 9 weeks for unknown reasons, the baby just never had a heartbeat. I just wanted to let all those women out there with PCOS know, there is definately hope! I've had 4 pregnancies, resulting in 2 healthy gorgeous babies (no medical help) so it's definately possible to acheive and carry a baby to term when you have PCOS. i hope this gives anyone who reads this who has PCOS hope to keep on trying. Good luck!

TTC and impatient

DH is 26 and I am 25. This is our 2nd month TTC and it is so hard to be patient!! I am so preoccupied with delightful thoughts of having a baby that I'm surfing the web for TTC resources all day long. Next month is my birthday and it will be a week after my next cycle is scheduled to begin. I would really love a BFP for my birthday!! I know that these things take time and patience, but I can't help but be excited right now!! Best of luck and lots of baby dust to all!

Pregnant?

My husband and I are trying, and I can't take the waiting period either. I'm having numerous symptoms that usually point to pregnancy, but I'm afraid to get my hopes up because of the fact that I'm on Clomid, and I was told that many pregnancy symptoms arise though not pregnant. How am I supposed to know what I'm feeling??? I tested on day 25 and got a negative reading. I'm waiting until day 31 to test again...if I can stand it. Thanks for reading!

Pregnant?????

I am 20 yrs old and I have been anxiously trying to have a baby for some time now. I have had all types of scares such as late periods, spotting, and some pregnancy symptoms. Well this month I know that me and my boyfriend had sex during my ovulation period, I have seen my period for october, but I have had many pregnancy symptoms such as back pains, eating a lot, sensitive to smells, naseua(sometimes), and fatigue. The only thing I can do now is wait and see what happens in november. I really hope and pray that it is indeed true this time that I am pregnant there is nothing else i want more in this world than to have a baby with the man I love. Anyone reading this letter please keep me in your prayers.
