Could it be?

My boyfriend and I have been extra careful. We use protection but because of health reasons I can't take birth control. We've never slipped up but these last two weeks since my last period have been horrible...I get sick for a couple hours every day. I was gonna say the flu but it's lasted way too long, and for such a predictable area of the day. I have this feeling that I'm pregnant but the whole thing is I can't take a home test for two more weeks. I'm not sure what to think at this point. We weren't planning on kids but if we turn up pregnant then neither of us would challange such an obvious gift. Here's to fate.

a little hope....

My biological clock finally started to tick a couple years ago to the disappointment of my husband who actually wanted to TTC earlier than that. We have been trying for 2 years and have gone through all of the testing. I was diagnosed with endometriosis. We went on Clomid anyway and tried IUI for the first time last month. A couple weeks ago, I started to get really tired, but I chalked it up to my insomnia. I am currently 5 days late and have one positive test I did myself. I am waiting for the blood test results now. I am crossing my fingers....

2 surprises...maybe 3?

We started trying to have kids about 4 yrs ago but found out that I had pcos and were told we probably couldn't conceive naturally. As you can imagine we were pretty devastated. We talked about our options and decided to go with the natural approach first (healthy eating, vitamins etc etc). We totally surprised to find out about 4 mths later that I was pregnant. Wow! Surprise no. 1 was a gorgeous boy. When he was about 10 mths old, we starting talking about when we wanted to try for another baby. It was coming up Christmas so we said we would maybe start trying in March/April of the following year, making a nice 2 1/2 - 3 yr gap. So imagine my shock in late December to find I was pregnant, again, with surprise no. 2. No planning or anything and here we are, a regular family of 4 and only 20 mths between the kids. No. 2 was a darling little girl, now just turned 1. So anyway, you would think I would have some comprehension of how easy it actually seems for me to fall pregnant. But opps. we got down to it a couple days ago and i omitted to make sure dh knew it was a "bad time" to do it unprotected (having all those fertile symptoms screaming out loud!)(you would think that if i'm actually ASKING for it, then maybe, just maybe i might be fertileand my hormones are making me slightly crazy - i mean why ELSE would a frazzled mother of 2 be wanting sex??! - ). oh dear. now i wait with anxious bated breathe to test in 2 weeks. What's the bet we have surprise no. 3 on the way...??!
