Trying to Conceive

I am 24 years old with a 4 years old son. We have been trying for a baby since last 3 months, i gave up on my career as i have noticed my son gets really bored, so i decided on doing a casual job that i can quit anytime when i get pregnant or dont feel like working in pregnancy. I have missed so many offers on my career job as i know if i get a full time job i cant get preg as a new job requires full time attention.

So far i have wasted 5 pregnancy tests. i really cant wait to get pregnanat. i want a girl time this have thought of a theme and decoration as well but it seems getting pregnant is hard for me.

My periods are due in 6 days time period, this time i feel my one breast is getting different ...its strange cuz it can't be in one breast but then i got this tingling feeling in my Vagina that reminds me of my Urine Infection that i had in my first pregnancy. I still have one more pregnancy test to go but i dont want to waste it now as i have already used 5 .

I know if its not the right time then i can never coneive, its not in my hand we are just trying rest is in God's hand but i cant get over the fact that last time i got pregnant in my second time.

reading stories is good and it helps me to know thar i am not alone here.

Harder this time than in the past...

I'm a 34 year-old mother of two beautiful girls ages 12 and 6. My firstborn was a "surprise!" and my second was conceived on the first try. I suffered a miscarriage in 2003 (another "surprise!" pregnancy) when a blighted ovum failed to develop -- I grew according to schedule and had pregnancy symptoms but miscarried in my 14th week. My hubby and I decided a few months ago to try for another, and I'm finding that it's not as easy as I thought it would be. I thought it would happen right away, and I was quite disappointed last month when I got my period. I'm due for my period again tomorrow and I have a feeling it didn't happen for me this month, either. I'm getting very frustrated. It helps to read stories of others' trials and tribulations as well, so that I may remind myself that getting pregnant is a process and not a given. Good luck to all.

Pregnancy Symptoms

Right after I conceived, probably about 1 week after, I woke up one morning feeling like I had picked up something really heavy, underneath of my arms (armpit area) down the sides of my boobs hurt really bad. It felt like I had used a muscle that I hadn't used in a while. I also "just knew I was pregnant". I had no idea that the pain under my arms down the sides of my boobs was my boobs growing! But I went and bought a test on my lunch break, couldn't wait to go home and take it so I took it at work and it showed positive right away. I remember sitting there thinking why did I buy I test, I know it is going to say negative? Then the test started its process and the positive line showed up as soon as the urine hit it! I was so excited I couldn't hardly get my pants zipped and the stall door open to go call my husband and tell him. We had decided only 3 weeks prior that we were ready to start a family and it only took us 1 week to conceive!

Irregular Cycles

Does anyone else out there have experience with long & irregular menstrual cycles - like lasting anywhere from 45 to 70 days each?

My husband & I are TTC and my cycles have been like this since going off the pill six months ago. I know I'm capable of getting pregnant because we already have one child, and he was conceived with the same cycle problems. But I think we got extremely lucky that time because we had barely even started trying when we got pregnant. Because of my cycle lengths, I didn't even know I was pregnant until about 7 weeks.

This time, determined not to miss those first 7 weeks, I've been doing ovulation monitoring so we'll know when it's "time", but my readings are all over the place. I get a lot of false positives, then AF happens 2 weeks after the last one, then it starts all over again. With these cycles, it's really hard to predict when I'm actually ovulating (or if I am at all), and our fertile times are few and far between.

thanks....

B.

Can't handle the waiting period!!
