Honeymoon suprise

Since I was young I always dreamed of getting married and having kids at a young age.

I graduated high school when I was 17. I met a man named Chris right after my 18th birthday. We moved in together soon after. After living together for almost two years we started talking about marriage. december 3 I decided to tell my mom who i'm very close to that I knew Chris was getting me a ring for Christmas. She was happy.

Well it turned out that Chris gave me the ring that night and we decided to just go for it. We got married 16 days later on December 19th 2003. Back in October I had gone off my birth control knowing that we wanted to try for a baby. My doctor told me that since i had been on the pill for so long that it would take at least 6 months for it to be out of my body. I never thought much about it.Having planned the wedding so fast and with family from all over coming to see us, I hadn't realised i was so stressed.

Well after the wedding was done and over with we could breathe. My best friend my husband and i were at walmart the night of January 9th. My friend bought a pregnacy test as she was late. It had two in it. As a joke i took one as she took hers. She came out and said hers was negative. I told her i was sorry. I never even looked at mine and threw it away.

She asked what mine was and i said i knew it was negative so i didn't look. She grabbed it out of the garbage and said "It's posiative". I went numb in shock. I walked out of the bath oom with her.

My husband was waiting for us. He asked what Amber's was and we said negative. As tears of happiness started to fall i turned to him and said, "but honey wer'e positive". He was soo happy.

We went to the doctor's the nexted week and from the date he was born they said he was a honeymoon baby..(so girls no matter how long the doctors say it will take, they can't garantee it.I was off the pill for less then 3 months and i got pregnant)

not being a mum-to-be when i was a mum-to-be!!

I did numerous pregnancy tests when I thought I was pregnant first time round, my periods were irregular too which didnt help!!. However.. I tested lots of times and eventually got a postive result when I was 16 weeks(four months!!).. Imagine my shock at that.. just goes to show.. a negative result doesn't always mean not pregnant!!

NO SIGNS

I just took a home test and it says I'm pregnant. In March, I thought I was pregnant. I took a home test; it was positive & then I went to the doctor & it said I wasn't. So I took another home test, it also said I wasn't. So I forgot about it.
I got my period & I was late again this month. When I took it was positive. I took another on to be sure; it was positive also.

TTC for years and FINALLY testing

ok, so my sister and I were going to Walmart, I was going to buy a pregnancy test. I had one child, a 5 year old boy, my husband and I had been TTC for a few years, it was brutal, so, I was like a minute late for my period. We go into Walmart, I go directly to the pharmacy dept to get the test, I walk up to the cashier and pay for it, can I tell you, this is the QUICKEST Walmart shopping trip on record for me! The cashier asks "would you like a bag?" I said "nope, gonna go take it right now" she says "here??!!" I said "YUP!!!" and I make my way to the ladies room. I walk in to the handicap stall, do my business, watch it turn blue as it gets wet and start to scream. The other people in the bathroom probably thought I was INSANE!!! I ran out of the bathroom and started jumping up and down, my sister thought I was nutty! haha
After the initial shock wore off, we went into the men's department and got a "World's Greatest Dad" shirt! I wrapped that up in the box with the test, and gave it to him when he got home from work! What a day! It was fabulous!
After I had the baby, I was pregnant again within a few months, which was a surprise because I had had such a hard time conceiving both children. I miscarried a few months later, took a year off, and have been TTC for almost 4 years now, UGH!
Talk to you soon

false reading

This story is a little comical and confusing all at the same time.
I had bought a box of 2 pregnancy tests back in January. I had missed my cycle by a week. It was negitive and so far I have not had a positive test. I've had a cycle every month. Well, I've been feeling "different" lately and my cycle is due next week. Well, I had an extra test from that box of two in my drawer next to the toliet, mind you it was not in the box it was in a plain aluminum wrapper. I decided to just take the test for the heck of it.
As I watch the urine soak the stick I realized there were TWO lines. So, of course I automatically think I am pregnant. So I find a way to tell my husband (since this would be our 4th) and we get thru all of the initial shock. I run to the store to buy another test to make sure. I get home and take one of the tests, negitive. SO I am thinking hmmmm, what is the deal. By the way there were two tests in the box. So this morning I get up and take the other test, guess what, negitive.
So I go online and start looking up the type of test I had taken that made me think positive. I could not find it anywhere. So, I remembered that I had bought those tests at the dollar general. I went down to the store and looked at the box, my first test, it was negitive. See when the urine went by I got a horizontal line and a vertical line in two different windows. I forgot that with that test The horizontal line would be a minus by itself and then if it is positive it would be a plus sign. So, you see, we went thru all of the shock and the wow and the yeay, to find out, nothing. DARN! next time I will keep the tests in the box to know which one it is. I WILL NEVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN! lol.
