Getting Pregnant Late In Life
This is not about me and its not really about getting pregnant but my friend is getting married in August and there's a baby on the way, but it's not my friends baby it's her mother's. She's 46 and she slipped up last Christmas.
At first she thought she'd started her change a bit early and it wasn't until her middleaged spread looked more than middleaged spread that she went to the Doctor and found out. Her daughter is well pleased for her but it will make the wedding photos look a bit funny.
2nd post..So I've written a story on here before. I have about another 4 days until my period is supposed to start but it may not come anyways because it wasn't always regular.
BUT I feel pregnant in so many ways; but I also feel that it could be in my head because I've wanted to be pregnant for the past couple months now. A few symptoms I know that aren't in my head though are feeling tired, a few sharp pains in my stomach, bloated, lower back ache.. I don't even know, the symptoms I feel may be too early to tell?
I went to the doctor before I started my period this last time & she said I wasn't pregnant, but she didn't even take a urine test or anything! So I don't know what to do, other then wait..
I hope & pray that I'm pregnant. Having a baby would make me & my boyfriend of 4 years complete. Of course we'd try for other kids down the road, but for right now, we just need one. =)
16 months of tryingHad sex around ovulation time, about a week later real sore breasts which usually are not sore till about a day or two before period, constant burping. Today, cramps like my period may be here tomorrow, if it is it is 2 days early and I am usually like clock work.
Took pt but it was negative, I am hoping its just too early, I will take another if period isnít here by Thursday (4 more days) this waiting is hard. I will post later on if I am pregnant or not.
It's so hard to waitI am 30 and this will be our last baby. I have 2 boys ages 8 and 5. They are wonderful boys, but now because this is the last I really want a girl. More than that I just want to be pregnant. I have wanted to since my youngest was 2. I have waited 3 years for my husband to be ready for another one. In all honesty he was right to make me wait. We found ourselves in a hardship and needed time to get back on track.
I think I am pregnant but part of me thinks it couldn't possibly happen so fast. With both of my other children it did happen with only the first try, but for some reason I just don't want to get my hopes up. I don't want to believe that it's true just to find out we are not going to have a baby.
I like the trying part it's fun, but the waiting is not quite so fun. I have at least 2 weeks before I start my period. I have had some symptoms, but they might all be in my head considering it's only been a few days since we may have possibly conceived. My husband is confident that I am pregnant considering our track record.
I guess I will just keep myself occupied reading about getting pregnant until I can take a pt.
SymptomsMy first 2 pregnancies were very much alike in the first trimester. I did not get sick I just got very tired and had sore breasts. I may be pregnant now too soon to tell. So far I have not had the same symptoms. I have been experiencing some morning sickness.
That might all be in my head though because I want to be pregnant. I do remember the first sign of pregnancy with my second child was heartburn.
