Am I?

My husband and I have decided to try for a baby almost right after getting married. I thought it would be very easy (since I'm still pretty young and healthy). But now it's almost the end of the 2nd month! With my period due in about a week, I can't wait to find out!

I have had a few symptoms such as breast pain once in a while, and pressure in my stomach - but that's about it.

Guess I'll wait. But my patience is on a very thin line.

Good luck to all you ladies who are trying, and Congrats to those who are Pregnant!

The "Big" Story

I’m a start off by saying that this pregnancy was kind of unexpected but even though it was I still feel that it was meant to be.

I have to say my last period was on the 24th of April and it lasted for the normal 5 days for me but before me and my boyfriend had sex again I made him wait 3 days until the next time we did. A couple of days later I felt fine until on the 10th of May. I started to bleed again and I didn’t know what it was; I thought to myself, “I know I am not having my period again because I just got off my period”. It lasted for a day in a half.

So after a couple of days later we had sex again and I asked him after we finished did he do what I think he did so from there I felt that if he did that he was going to have to take care of his responsibility so I found out that he did and from the first time we had sex. I waited to see if my period was going to come for the month of May and it hasn’t came so now its June 4 and I haven’t had my period yet.

I’m not having morning sickness but I do feel myself sleeping a lot and having a appetite out of this world. My left breast is a little sore on the top left side to the nipple and on the right breast its the same but is not as sore as the left breast and it looks likes its getting a little bigger then usual.

I dont know whats happening?

I wrote in earlier and I’m very confused. I took two pregnancy tests three days ago and they showed I was pregnant, but when I went to the doctor and she told me her test came out negative!

I don’t know what to believe, I have had light spotting, but its nothing like my period.

Hoping for a gift from God

Hi all, I have just gone off the pill after only 6 months. I was actually on the pill because of irregular period problems and my gyno said that if I did not regulate my periods I would end up with some serious complications such as cysts forming in my uterus or possibly cancer.

Anyway, I am 20 years old I just got my B.A. Degree and am working at a job that pays well. I feel that I am ready to start a family. My boyfriend of 6 years is 23 years old and is in full support of having a baby.

This is the first month I have TTC and I am hoping that this would be it! Living in a developing nation, Marshall Islands, there are no advance doctors or medicine that will help me along the way if I did have infertility problems or any other complications. I just hope that we are successful.

After reading many other stories, I see that many are not successful in TTC after going off the pill but then again others are lucky. Obviously, I do not know if I even have a regular cycle since I have just gone off the pill a month ago. I have done a lot of research on ovulation and conception and have come to find out that have a 35 day long cycle because on the 22nd day of my cycle I felt a sharp pain shoot into the right side of my lower abdomen and I believe that I felt myself ovulate. Now is has been 6 days since that time but I know I still have a week or so to go.

As of this time, I do not have any symptoms of pregnancy but after further research I saw that when you conceive your body still doesn't know that you are pregnant thus you do not exert the signs or symptoms of pregnancy until about a week later when the egg makes it's journey to the uterus and attaches itself to the lining in the uterus. So right now I am still waiting for those symptoms.

My period is due next week (7 days to be exact). And from what I have read many have gotten negatives back because they checked earlier then their period where in reality it is more practical to check after you have missed your scheduled period.

All right so there is my little story. I know I read stories where they were only 5-6 days post conception but were already showing signs of pregnancy and positives on their pg tests. I think I am becoming very obsessed over this whole getting pregnant issue and it has only been my first try. I cannot imagine how those who told stories of trying for months to years that must have been very hard to handle.

Here I am not even a complete month and I am going crazy waiting and wanting to know if I am preggie. I bought this book by Christine Harris called "The Pregnancy Journal" and it explains what is going on in your body with the baby and yourself day by day until birth of the baby. I have a planner and I am constantly tracking the days of ovulation and just studying it all. I think I learned more about pregnancy and conception in 2 weeks than a gyno has in their years of schooling.

Anyway according to the book, today would be the day I would experience spotting and pains from implantation. I feel cramps but don't know about the spotting. I just really hope that I will successfully conceive this month I really want a baby!

Thank you all for reading my story, which is on the longer side, but I just needed to share.

i want to know if I'm pregnant

I had my last period on April 13th and let's just say today's June 2nd and its still not here. I'm married, 23 and right now very frustrated because I took two pregnancy tests and they were both negative.

But still no period, the only signs I have are: nausea, very tired and cravings but my breasts aren't swollen or tender. Right now I don't mind being pregnant but if I am, then I want it to show up on the test.
