The Baby NewsI met my boyfriend at a place I never thought I would find someone. A Mormon dance. I am not a religious person and neither is he. He was forced to go by his friend as was I. He started talking to me and then asked me for my number. He didn't call me for 5 months. When he called me we talked for 7 1/2 hours straight. When we were talking, we decided that it would be a good idea for him to sneak in and have sex as my parents were asleep in their room across the hall. We only had sex for like 5 minutes because I didn't feel comfortable having sex with someone I didn't really know. But even with the use of a condom AND birth control I still ended up pregnant. I was talking to him everyday after that happened. I knew I was pregnant and I am pretty sure he knew too. He asked me to date him so that way he wouldn't get into trouble with his family because he got a girl pregnant and left. I asked my uncle to go and buy me a pregnancy test from the Dollar Store. He bought me 2. I took them both one after another, and they both came out POSITIVE. I was scared but I had already mentally prepared myself for it. I told him, and told his parents. His parents were OK with it, but I knew that if I told mine I wouldn't have a place to stay. I went to the doctors soon afterwords. The doctor diagnosed me at 5 weeks pregnant. I am now 8 weeks pregnant, WITH TWINS. My boyfriend is due to leave for Iraq (because he is a Marine.) I will already have the babies by the time he comes back. I am scared because there are 2 of them, but after weeks of reasuring by my boyfriend we are keeping them. We are hoping that they are a boy and a girl. He picked out the names and I absolutely love them: Lillian Marie & Logan Earl. I am proud that I am pregnant. I am going to continue to try and accomplish my life plan. Ya the babies will set me back a bit, but I will push forward and succeed, if not for me then for my family. twins and so excitedI went into hospital for bleeding and i was 6 weeks and four days, they did a scan and seen a heartbeat, then i said to the technician " look for another one" and yep there was i am now 12weeks pregnant with fraternal twins and had two bouts of bleeding which turned out to be left over implantation blood..I will have 4 children and couldnt be happier. I have had worse all day sickness than with my girls and the tiredness is very overwhelming, i seemed to have a break from the tiredness for a week or two and its back with vengence but the vomiting is heaps better. I hope to know the sexes in 8 weeks.joanne rose More Than OneI was 17 when i found out i was pregnant. It changed my life. I cant ever imagine going back to the way things were. On September 3rd i welcomed quads, Jacob Thomas, Madeleine Kate, Avery Grace and Max Thomas. Four kids at such a young age is hard but i can make it work. I have 2 jobs and my husband and the babies father has two jobs. Its hard but I couldnt imagine my life any other way.Macy Claire <3 Macy Claire Twins!!My fiance and i wanted to start having children. I told him we should do it sooner rather than later, as he is nearing 40 (he's 37 now) and we didn't want to find out he had fertility problems. He's had surgery in that area because of a torsion, and that can contribute to problems. Also, he doesn't want to be 50 and just starting a family. I am 23, so we weren't worried about my fertility. We had no problems getting me pregnant, and succeeded on only the second month of trying. Being worried about fertility, you can guess how shocked we were when the tech told us she heard two heartbeats!!! We are so happy to be getting two babies, and that we get to be a family of 4 right away. Our family is so excited. I have had an excellent pregnancy so far. I have been sick twice, but if I keep eating small meals or snacks all the time to keep my blood sugar up, I am fine. I have been sleeping a whole lot though, and resting. I did have to go to the emergency room because I was having chest pain and shortness of breath, but the tests they did all came back negative, and the symptoms went away in a few hours. No one knows what it was. They thought it was a clot, but when they did an u/s of my legs there was nothing there. I feel fine now though! I am 17 weeks, 5 days. I feel great, except for being tired all the time. We know they are fraternal, but won't know the sexes for another 11 days at my next u/s :) I am hoping for a vaginal birth. Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I have been a non-stop reading machine! The best book so far has been "When you're expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads" and I recommend it to anyone with a multiple pregnancy! :) Good luck to all! :) Kimberli Serious feelingMy husband and I got married this past October with the intention of leaving it up to God as to whether or not we would be starting our family sooner or later. We had had a miscarriage last February, and knew that we hadn't been ready, but both felt the loss of it. Plus my husband's in the Army so I think he wants to make sure he leaves something behind for the me and the rest of the world if something happens while he's deployed. Although that shouldn't happen until 2011. Anyway we weren't using any type of contraception and were praying to God for it not to happen until we're ready. We want to be good parents because both of us grew up with at least one very bad parent and know our childhoods should have been different. 9 days before I was supposed to start my period I "knew" that I wasn't going to. So I stopped drinking and waited. The day I was supposed to start came and went, and no period. So I took two tests, and happily informed my husband when they were both positive. As soon as I saw the result I "knew" that it was going to be a boy, and my very next thought was that it wasn't going to just be a boy. I had an emergency ultrasound at 8wks because I couldn't keep anything down, showing just one baby with 167bpm. I'm now 9wks and 2 days and every day I become more certain that I'm going to have boy/girl twins. My uncle and one of my first cousins both had fraternal girl twins. Other than that there is no family history. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but my morning sickness is HORRID. I wake up literally 20 times per night. I'm ALWAYS tired to the point that I'm ready for bed at 6pm and don't get out of bed til 10 or 11am the next day, though I often lay in bed an hour before I get up. I will take whatever God gives me, but I'd really like to know for certain. My first technical ultrasound isn't until December 14th, and I don't see my ob/gyn until the 21st when I will be 10wks and 6 days.
