love being pregnantI'm 19 years old and 6 months pregnant with my first child. Me and the father of my unborn child are very happy together. When i first got pregnant in June of 2010 I was very happy. At 11 weeks and 5 days pregnant i had a miscarriage, it just broke my heart. After that I got on birth control because me and my boyfriend didnt need a child at the time. In September of 2010 me and him started having problems and broke up. A couple of weeks after we broke up i found out i was pregnant again, the birth control FAILED. I told my boyfriend about it and we got back together. Now we can't wait till our baby girl gets here in June of 2011. We are very excited about this. And we plan on getting married after she is born :]... caitlyn Interacting with my baby!Im 25 weeks and I am going to surprise myself about my baby's sex... and even though I dont know if my baby is male or female, I still seem to have this amazing bond with him/her... I can't believe how much I love my baby already-I can see baby kicking and moving around, sometimes we even play games... I touch a spot and s/he kicks me... I feel so connected to my child already and at times I could swear I can feel what s/he is feeling... the bond is already amazing. I talk to my baby constantly and do get weird looks from people if I say something to baby in a public place, but to me it doesnt matter because I know my child is there with me and can hear me so it only seems right to include my baby in what is going on. I ask "What do you want for dinner", I throw out suggestions, and it seems like s/he can even understand certain words... because everytime I ask "do you want some cheese" s/he will kick... Its really fun being pregnant, I have the most time out of anyone to get to know the baby... and s/he has the most time to get to know me as well... We do everything together (obvoiusly), eat, bathe, listen to music, watch TV... and s/he is definitally not shy about what s/he likes or dislikes... I know a few types of music baby prefers, I know s/he likes bass filled music and dances when s/he hears it... I know s/he hates it when anyone other than me or his/her daddy tries to feel him/her move, because when I do it baby kicks and moves around happily and same goes for babys daddy but the second anyone else tries to feel s/he will suddenly stop moving and will refuse to move again until s/he is sure they arent around anymore... the same thing goes for altrasounds and dopplers, except instead of refusing to move, s/he kicks feircly and I know s/he is angry, and in my heart I can just feel that s/he doesnt appriciate what is going on at that moment. But I have found that I seem to be able to calm my baby down, if I rub my tummy and talk to baby then s/he will let them listen and look in... but if I dont do anything, they have the most difficult time getting a good picture or heart rate.... so I guess my baby is already a mommys baby. Anyway, I just thought I would share a few interesting things about my pregnancy and child... I hope everyone else who is pregnant is enjoying bonding with their baby and getting to know them before they are born, because in my opinion this is a great time to do so.... I got a job after being laid down and the best part is my angel can come to work with me. Im amazed at how other countries act toward teenage pregnancy, although it's difficult, here where I live the underpriveliged (our native africans) have more than 4 children by the age of 18. Every child is cinceived with reason, LOVE THEM!!!!!!lola Life ChangesHi, my name is Brittany. I am 16 years old, and a junior in school! I always thought I was the kind of girl who could and would never get pregnant! I felt invinsible! But as everybody knows, you can get pregnant anytime and thats whay happened to me! I wasnt on birth control but we did use protection, but apparently that wasnt enough. But the day I finally found out I WAS pregnant I was with two really good friends and once one test came back positive we went to the nearest Walgreens and bought two more, and once three test came back positive, I was hopeing to God that they were broke or something. But the next day in school I told my mom via text message, not the best way to tell her but that afternoon after school she took me to the doctors office where she works they did a test on me, and indeed I was pregnant! With my mom and everybody freaking out it was a lot to take in at one time knowing that my hopes for them three other test to be broken didnt work out like I had planned. But now that I knew for sure I went on and told my boyfriend whom I had been with for over a year he freaked out like I did and went on and told his parents they were upset but now there very happy and excited for us. That same night my mom made me tell my entire family all at once, A LOT of pressure, they all just cried or shook there head and said they were disappointed but they would indeed support me! Now that I am four months along in my pregnancy everybody is excited and cannot wait to find out what the sex of the baby is, me and the babies father are excited he wants a little boy of course but I just want something completely and one hundred percent healthy! I found out I was pregnant when I was 8 weeks a long, now time seems like it is flying by it felt like a day and boom im entering my second trimester. I hope time keeps going by fast because I am ready and so is the whole family, to have the little one in are arms. Even though I am sixteen years old, I still think I'm strong enough to do it especially with my family by my side.Already my pregnancy has been a journey or more like a roller coaster rides I never know whats going to happen next, but me and my boyfriend both have amazing supprt systems and I am so thankful for that. I love my family and his family both. I am so anxious and he is to. All i know is I am ready to met my little angel. July can't come fast enough! If you can hear me baby, momma and daddy loves you!-Brittany.
