I am 19 years old and I got married when I was 18. People will say that that's too young and what not. But you just know when he's the one. So we've been together for over 2 years and married for a year. After we got married we decided to start trying for a baby. We both love kids and he has 10 siblings.
So pretty close to a year later we found out I was pregnant, but by the time we found out I was pretty close to 3 months. I had been sick for the past 3 months but it wasn't too bad, it was your average flu feeling and my monthly thing I just wasn't paying attention. So on may 4th we took 2 home tests and they came back positive. Then right after went to the doctors and there test was also postive. We were so excited, especially since I was afraid I was never going to get pregnant.
But I did realize I was starting to show sooner then most women do for how far along I was. My husband always joked about maybe we are having twins, his parents joked about it etc. So then I went to my first doc. appointment and heard one heart beat. Then when I was 20 weeks I was scheduled for an ultra sound appointment because when they got my blood test results back I had a high level for down syndrome and spinal defects. So at the ultrasound they brought my husband in and said that the reason why those levels where so high was because not only was there one baby, but there was two.
I was in denial. I had said no your lying, and it can't be true. Then they showed me and there was definitly two babies in there. Moving around which by that time I could feel them moving. Found out we are having two boys. They can't tell if they are identical twins or not but they are going to treat them like they are. My intuition about having a boy was correct, but never thought there would be 2. I am very excited especially now you can feel them kick and my husband can feel them kick now.
My next ultra sound is on the 11th of august. I am very grateful for this blessing and hope things will go well.
Holding One and Two on the WayI had my daughter August of 2001. In December 2001, I went through the ER because I hurt my back trying to break ice off the door of veh. They asked was I prego I said no, because I had just given birth 3 months ago. Well they did Preg test and told me I was. Well went in to see my OB and she told me it can't get that bad. I was like you can recover from a broken leg but carrying two babies in diapers at the same time. She sent me for an ultrasound to make sure it wasn't anything from my previous birth. The Sonogram Tech knew me and starting laughing. I said what's the joke, she replied how sweet you have two more to add to the family. I cried so hard, she had to run and get my doctor. I was already 5 weeks prego. I can truly say the pregnancy was very easy except for the fact I had to have a NST (Non Stress Test) done twice a week. Of course baby "B" was the busy bee. My doctor took me off work at 6 months because I had already dilated to 3cm. I was having contractions. They gave steriods to help strengthen my babies lungs. I went for a NST one morning and they were seeing contractions but I wasn't feeling a thing. I was transferred to another hospital that is when they told me I was in labor and had dilated to 7 cm.(still no labor pains) Baby "B" turned breech at the last minute and had to have a emergency "C-Sect. I had two handsome boys 4 6 and 4 11. They stayed in the NICU for 2 weeks and they came home together. So for 2 months all three of my babies are the same age. My daughter is 10 mths older then they are. My oldest is 8 years older than my daughter. They are some little buggers now. They stay in everything and of course Baby "B" still is the most active one.
a half a dozonYes thats right six. I had just talked my husband into just one more, with the condition that it was just one more. We already had four wonderful children, 2 boys 2 girls but I felt our family just wasn't complete and he agreed that maybe there was one more. So shortly after the test came back positive he went for the snip(just to make sure there was just one more). Well my symptoms were a bit worse than the first four pregnancies but I just brushed it off on being the busy mom of four kids under seven so imagine the suprise when the ultrasound tech,( a close friend who knew of the just one more rule) started laughing in the middle of the ultrasuond yep there were two. Well to say my husband was shocked is a bit of an understatment but he did laugh with the rest of us and pointed out to everyone that I always get my way(I hate odd numbers) and the best was yet to come we have just been blessed with a baby boy and his little sister.
Pregnant With Twins!! Surprise!!I found out I was pregnant on July 5th, 2006. I was only 4 weeks from LMP. I was really excited, but also feeling fear, due to having a m/c in april, 2006. My fears seemed to be coming true...A half hour after I found out, I went to the ladies room and had slight bleeding but it was red...then pink, then gone by the time I was done going potty. I went to the emergency room to go get checked out, and they found an hCG level of 352. They warned me it may be an ectopic pregnancy or threatened m/c. I went home and was called in to get lab work done the next day (only 12 hours later). My hCG level jumped to 641!! I was told to make an appointment and that was that...I was really pregnant!!
So....now comes the fun part.
A few weeks went by and on sunday night, july 24, 2006 I went to go stand up and had severe stabbing pain in my lower left belly. I went to the hospital to get checked again the next morning, and my hCG level was 64197!!! They decided to do an ultrasound to check the BABY...key word....baby. I had just emptied my bladder and told the technician and he decided to do a ultrasound on my tummy anyways, just to see what he could see. I saw 2 black spaces in my uterus...He said, "wow, you're having twins" I said "no, I am not....and it isn't nice to lie to a pregnant lady like that" as I was giggling...I asked him about 24 more times and he kept his word, swearing to me I am pregnant with twins! He said, "don't get too upset yet" ( I was crying, and laughing at the same time, totally delirious!) he said he was going to do the vaginal u/s also (with phase II) We saw absolutely the most amazing, most beautiful picture ever...My 1st view of my babies was thid: They were in 2 little sacs right next to each other, facing each other! and baby B was on my left side moving its arms and had a strong healthy heart, baby A seemed to be asleep and had a strong healthy heart! I cried and felt like a new woman.
Not only am I a gemini (sign of the twins) I am carrying twins that I conceived in June, and my middle name is June!! How strange. I am a mommy to be of 2 new little precious babies. My original due date was on March 12th...now it is moved to february sometime. My symptoms at 5-7 weeks (I am 7 1/2 weeks now) are: a little morning sickness, especially if I don't eat right when I am hungry, heartburn, severe breast pain and enlargement, round ligament pain (due to me measuring 10 weeks yet only 7!) minor headaches, severe constipation, and extremely exhausted with the little things I do, feels like a challenge to take a shower or walk up the stairs! Hopefully that will subside in the next months. so, that is my story.
Thanks to the Lord for giving me 2 precious babies.
tripletsI just found out we are having triplets. We are completley shocked we have a 51/2 month girl and an 11 yr. boy. My doctor said I could never have any more children after my first was born. I was never on fertility so when i found out I was pregnant with my 5 1/2 month it was a complete surprise, then I took birth control and I'm pregnant with triplets Crazy
