"What Do You Think?"

To my surprise, I just found out I am pregnant. I have been on the pill for a few years so I was not really worried when I missed a couple of pills last month. I assumed it would take me a long time to get pregnant again when ever I would decide to get off the pill.

My mom commented on how I am already showing (I am only 5 weeks pregnant). Then she went on to say "You may be pregnant with twins".

Praying Hard!

I found out yesterday 7-25 that we were pregnant! (4 weeks). It is so hard to get excited since this is the second go around. Almost a year ago at this time we found out we were pregnant but lost it within days of finding out and within a month I was having another surgery due to ovarian cyst (my 3rd one!)

It all started about 5 days ago when I kept getting sick at night and my boobs--WOW!---they hurt. I went to the doctor yesterday after they got my results and thank the Lord above that the ultrasound showed no abnormalities. (My miscarriage last year ended up starting in my tube - the only one left!) I am going to go back Aug. 15th to make sure everything is still there so hopefully God will allow this one to bloom into a beautiful baby!

My husband and I are trying not to get too excited - he is scared for me since we have had all of the trouble but I know that he is just as ready as I am to have a child.

I have slight cramping in my legs and belly. I just hope it's normal since everything right now that happens, scares me.

A Blessing!

I just found out that my husband and I are expecting our fist baby! I'm so excited and feel like it's another blessing from God.

Last year I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS. So for about a year and a half my periods were very irregular. Until this year that I began to get my period regularly with the exception of one month.

So this July when I skipped my period again I really didn't think anything of it. Until I saw that my breast had grown over night and I started to feel very nauseous. I was anxious to buy a pregnancy test but didn't want to get my hopes up and be let down again like the previous year.

But this time the test actually came out Positive!! My husband and I still can't believe it. I can't wait for all these months to go by, so I can hold my baby in my arms! I'm 7 weeks pregnant! Yay!

What Dr.'s Appointment?

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant, as soon as I found out that I was expecting I called for a mid-wife, unfortunately I was placed on a wait list.

So, I hurried up and called my family Dr. and the women on the phone first asked me if I was keeping the baby. I was stunned. Then she told me when the appointment was.

When I got off the phone and did the math I realized that I will be into my second trimester by the time that I have my first appointment. What am I to do? I sat at my desk at work and started to cry!! Damn hormones.

pregnant

I did artificial insemination and just found out today that I am 4 weeks pregnant. We have been trying for a while and it worked the first time we did it.

I am really interested now in what I am suppose to do and what to eat. We go back to the doctor on the 31st to have an ultra sound and to hear the heart beat. We are really looking forward to that.
